I am utterly devastated that the commissioning process that has been thrust onto youth work; had totally negated the value of consistency, with regards to relationship building and offering young people a space to commune to engage in a voluntary capacity. Too often we see independant workshops bought in to be delivered to groups of y/p; by people who are not familiar to/with y/p. When the workshop is over they are gone from their lives.
