It’s a pleasure to be reporting about a course recruiting rather than a course closing!
Jane Melvin informs us that:
The University of Brighton is currently recruiting to the BA (Honours) Youth Work and the Foundation Degree Working with Young People ready for a new cohort in April 2013.
We are the only NYA validated BA (Hons) Youth Work in the south-east and have the added advantage of being part-time, meaning that students can study whilst maintaining their work or volunteering roles.
Originally set up in 1999 through a consortium of local employers, we are used to working with both self-supporting and employer-sponsored students. Placements are the student’s responsibility, the primary placement normally being their main place of work or volunteering with young people (minimum of 6 hours per week required).
The links to the flyers are above – please contact Jane at j.r.melvin@brighton.ac.uk
if you have further questions or want an application pack or at Room 205, Checkland Building, University of Brighton, Falmer Campus,
