Message from Kerry Jenkins of CYW/UNITE
We are holding a national rally at Unite HQ, Holborn, London, WC1X 8TN on Saturday March 29th so that we can come together to share information on the damage being wreaked to our youth service and play service up and down the UK, to discuss and debate strategies for immediate implementation and in the run up to the general election and to identify support and resources required at local level.
All CYW/Unite branches are asked to ensure that at least one representative from their branch attends this important day. Please discuss this event as a branch and make sure reps come prepared. It would be very useful is a short written report could be brought on the day as this will help the National Committee to formulate a ‘state of the nation’ report that can be taken forward to the NISC and other structures within the union.
Resources will be available on the day to take back to branches and lunch will be provided.
